MARTIN’S BOOK A WILD LIFE

In “A Wild Life” Martin reveals his astonishing adventures around the world as a BBC presenter and producer of nature documentaries.

Best known as a presenter on ‘Springwatch’ and ‘Autumnwatch’, Martin had spent thirty successful years behind the camera producing up-close-and-personal wildlife documentaries on location with man and beast – and really has seen it all!

In his no-holds-barred memoir, Martin recounts in candid detail how he jumped out of a hot air balloon at 10,000 feet to see how fast a chasing Peregrine Falcon could fly, how he ventured onto the frozen and treacherous waters of the Southern Ocean, and how he found himself face-to-face with a furious lioness. He recounts tales of deadly piranhas, vampire bats, fighting pandas and feral camels. In fact, it’s true to say that there’s very little of this world that Martin hasn’t experienced.

Warmly witty, and in his inimitable style, this has the potential to be the natural history book of the year.
